Ok here it is. New post so it is kept seperate from my text and bumps the thread. Once this guide is refined and edited based on any feedback on these forums, I will be posting it on my guild website.
How to; a 55 Monk Guide
The Setup (See below for Guide of Use)
NB: This guide is based on both other guides I used to learn how to "55" as well as my own personal experience. Many people do things slightly differently; you will probably develop your own style.
What is a 55 Monk?
A 55 Monk, or Invincimonk, is a Monk with 55 health. The user of this build must maintain the Protection Prayers Enchantment "Protective Spirit" so that they are only taking a maximum of 5-damage per hit. They can then use one of a few spells to either outheal or eradicate incoming damage.
How do I get my Health down to 55?
You need to upgrade your armour pieces with a Superior Monk rune (one per piece). I would suggest getting one of each attribute area, so a Superior Rune on Smiting, Healing and Protection Prayers as well as Divine Favor). These runes come with a -75 penalty, and this stacks to leave you with 105 Health.
You then need to acquire the -50hp Cesta offhand, or the "bloodknife" as it is sometimes called. This can be either bought for anything between 3 and 8 Platinium, or by simply completing the quest "Cities Of Ascalon", obtainable from Symon the Scribe after completing the Great Northern Wall mission.
NB: It is believed that only Prophecies characters can take this quest. I have not tried to obtain it with a character from another campaign, so I cannot answer this question myself.
Which Armour should I use?
I would suggest Ascetics Armor for this, due to the energy gains. You can purchase cheaper sets (so long as it has the maxmimum energy gain) from earlier outposts, as the armour-level does NOT matter once you have Protective Spirit up.
The runes say they don't stack. But there are only 4 for 5 armour pieces?
Although the runes say "Non-stacking" on them, this doesn't matter. You still get the -75hp, even if you don't get the extra +3 Attribute boost.
Which weapon should I use for this?
The weapon most 55 Monk users suggest is the green "Totem Axe". However, it is possible that, due to recent updates to AI which effect the farm of Totem Axes, the price of them may increase (currently 5-8 platinium). Any one-handed weapon with a +20% enchantment Mod is perfect. Having a +5 energy boost on it is also very good.
NB: Only Swords and Axes have the enchantment mod and can be held in one hand.
Another weapon many 55 Monks use is the Fiery Flame Spitter. This has a 10% chance to half your skill recharge times. Although this is good, it still needs the +20% enchantment length mod added before it can be used to effectively 55.
The base skills
The 55 Monk build runs off a base of 4-5 enchantments. Whilst different areas use different builds, there are 3 Enchantments which you will always need. These are;
Balthazars Aura [Smiting Prayers] (and/or) Essence Bond [No Attribute]
These are used for energy management. Many people use both enchantments for maximum energy gain when hit by an enemy
Blessed Aura [Divine Favor]
This is used to make the duration of your enchantments longer. It is vital for 55 Monk Builds which use Shield of Absorption.
Mending [Healing Prayers]
Some 55 Monk Builds no longer employ mending. However, it is a great way to cancel the effects of degeneration. In particular, bleeding, as it will completely cancel the degeneration from bleeding. However, some areas with no degen do not require mending
Protective Spirit [Protection Prayers]
This was mentioned above. It keeps the enemy attacks/spells from doing more than 10% of your maximum hp in damage. In this case, that is 5 (although it can drop lower if you are suffering from a Deep Wound).
NB: This enchantment will NOT effect Vampiric Spells such as Vampiric Gaze; these will ignore the 10% limit doing their full damage. They can spell instant death for any 55 Build without the proper spell-protection.
Skills for Prophecies/Factions only Owners
The following are the other skills needed for the 55 Monk build. Whilst some people use different skills, these are the basic skills you need.
Healing Breeze [Healing Prayers]
At 14 Healing Prayers, this gives you +9 Health Regeneration. At 5 damage per hit, this can easily cancel out damage from mobs as big as 20 enemies (based on attack speeds) although groups are best kept at around 10-12 enemies, especially whilst you get the hang of it.
OptionalBlessed Signet [Divine Favor]
This will give you 3 energy for each Monk Enchantment you are maintaining. It is great for solo farms where you need to gain back energy before entering combat. See "Variations" for other skills you can use. Note; this only counts permanent enchantments, such as mending, and not the ones with a time limit, such as Protective Spirit.
OptionalSpell Breaker [Divine Favor][Elite]
This spell is a must-have in areas where you are acting as a team-tank and are going to be fighting enchantment-stripping enemies. A prime example is the Underworld.
Skills for NightFall owners
If you own NightFall, you can purchase the following Spell to ensure you take no damage at all.
Shield of Absorption [Protection Prayers]
This spell reduces the enemy damage by 5 for each hit you take whilst enchanted. This, therefore, stacks. Without the -50hp offhand, you would take 5 damage from the second, then 0 damage then on. Thus this spell can save you from needing the offhand. However, it is still advisable to use it, as unexpected interrupts/degen can be fatal.
NB: Since the change in cast time, you need a Blessed Aura offering 34% enchantment time increases, as well as a weapon with a 20% duration increase mod, to maintain this enchantment indefinitely.
Damage Skills?
If you are planning to solo the enemy, you will need some method of causing damage. In the past, players would use Shield of Judgment for all groups. However, since the AoE updates, this is only possible for ranged Mobs. For melee mobs, it causes scattering. However, for Melee mobs, other skills are available. I won't list them all here; it is up to you which build you choose to run.
Attributes?
You may notice that, with Shield of Absorption falling under Protection Prayers, NightFall owners can afford to drop the Healing Prayers attribute line totally in order to increase their Divine Favour and another chosen attribute line (for damage). However, it is advisable that 55 Monks entering areas with degen take both Shield of Absorption and Healing Breeze, as Divine Favour alone cannot maintain you indefinitely.
14 Healing Prayers is adviseable for using the Healing-Breeze based build. Note; this also gives you +4 on Mending. +18 HP Regeneration is a force to be reckoned with.
For using the Shield of Absorption build, I would personally recommend 14 Protection prayers and 14 Divine Favour as the NECESSARY amounts to maintain Shield of Absorption permanently.
Alternative Skills for Secondary Professions
Mo/W: You can take Bonetti's Defense to help with Damage Spikes, anti-interrupt, or energy management. At its duration of 5 seconds (0 tactics) it is sufficient.
Mo/Me: Arcane Echo for repeatedly-using a skill such as Spell Breaker, or anti-interrupt skills such as Mantra of Concentration.
Mo/A: Shadow Of Haste could be used to get you safely away from a mob after doing your damage, although I have never seen this actively used.

How to use the 55 Monk
For this section of the guide, I am going to use the example of tanking ANY group of enemies. This will not show you how to kill, just how to tank the damage indefinitely.
I will also be assuming you have the following build.
Build
Healing Prayers: 14 (10 + 3 + 1)
Divine Favor: 13 (10 + 3)
Protection Prayers: 14 (11 + 3)
Protective Spirit | Healing Breeze | XX | Blessed Signet | Blessed Aura | Balthazars Spirit | Essence Bond | Mending
XX Would be a damage skill, or possibly Spell Breaker for the Underworld.
NB: This is a hugely example Build. You can run the Healing Breeze/Mending build with only 8-10 Protection prayers, freeing attribute points.
Upon loading the zone
Cast your 4 Permanent Enchantments and then use Blessed Signet to get your energy back up.
Facing the mob
Run to the first mob. About 1/4 of an Aggro circle away, cast Protective Spirit. Don't worry about energy; once you start taking hits, it will be flying in. Run in to the first mob. If they have any interrupt skills, it might be adviseable to also cast Healing Breeze before attacking. Allow the enemy to gather around you and continue to cast Healing Breeze and Protective Spirit.
For larger Mobs
For larger mobs, with small spikes of damage, you can repeatedly cast Protective Spirit and Healing Breeze; you will suffer no energy issues, and the Divine Favour Boosts will keep pushing your health up.
Congratulations; you are 55ing
Well done. If you have got this far, you have done well, as a 55 Monk can be expensive to create, and tricky to learn to use.
